Turkey?

these days, everything in my life is becoming a tradition.

from the tie-dye, karaoke, and movie marathons, to the arrested development clips, late trips to the library and constant eating out, i have filled my life with things and people that make me happy. it seems every time that i do something new, i think to myself, this MUST become a tradition. wednesday night just happened to be one of those times.

to kick off our thanksgiving celebration, we decided we would take part in possibly one of the easiest elementary crafts known to man. we pulled out the the printer paper, scissors and markers to make the infamous hand turkeys.

rather than competing over who had the biggest hands or who had the prettiest feathers, we chose to focus on the things that bring us laughter. billys, caitlins and mine are pretty self-explanatory. anna's on the other hand may need a bit of an explanation.

earlier that night we invited cole and stephen to participate in our turkey festivities, however both had previous plans. stephen, with his soon-to-be-fiance said he was "too old for turkey hands," and cole had plans with a 'special' someone. when i asked what that 'special someone's name' is, the response was, "don't worry about it g'woo'woo." obviously that is not the name of his 'special' someone, but the joke was made and soon forgotten.

or so we thought.

later in the night, i asked anna what the name of her turkey was.

she said through laughter, "don't worry about it."
"no really anna, what is the name going to be?'
"don't worry about it."
"no really, i want to know what you named it."
"don't worry about it is the name. it's cole's special someone."
hahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahaha

the name stuck, and the 'special someone' is now hanging on her fridge.
