This past weekend was my birthday! Yep folks, it was the first time I was actually home for my birthday in over 2 years. I headed home Friday after work with Lacey so that I could be home to celebrate my day and also Father's Day. As it always does, the weekend goes by super fast. Friday I went out to dinner with some friends and went ended up playing a few games before heading home to meet up with Heidi and Mike and my mom and dad. Saturday morning, my mom and I went with Tami and Whitney to hit up a few garage sales. It was an early morning and the sales weren't too great. All I ended up buying were a couple blank cd's... how exciting!! The rest of the day I helped out around the house, went to buy flowers for outside, and went with Kim Bernt to take Heidi and Mike's engagement pictures. You know, I am very impressed with how they turned out. Kim does an amazing job and it's good I was there too to say "money money money money" and "cheese" and every other random word I said. Thanks Kim for the wonderful job you did! Sunday morning (my birthday), I went to church with the fam, hit up the singles branch for sunday school and ate dinner with Dan, Tami, Colton, Whitney, Cody and Andee. Pat made stuffed hard rolls, pasta salad, chips and dip, baked beans, and cheesecake. I was craving the stuffed hard rolls, and it satisfied the craving! Then Grandpa and Grandma Harding and Kristy came over to have a visit before we left out to Arimo to visit the other grandparents and head back to Provo. Thanks everyone for the cards, texts, facebook messages, phone calls and gifts I received. I certainly don't feel any older, but I am grateful I was able to celebrate my 22nd birthday with family and friends. I also just want to tell my dad Happy Father's Day! Thanks for sharing your special day with me today. You have been such a great example to me in my life. You have taught me so many things...how to catch a ball, hit a golf club, ride a bike (even when the chain always fell off), how to pray, how to be gratefeful, how to work, how to laugh, how to be patient and countless other things. We have shared so many memories together and I am eternally grateful to have you as a parent. Thanks for loving me and supporting me. Thanks for treating mom as your perfect companion and thanks for being the perfect example to our family.
