This past weekend, Cole, Lauren, Erin, Krystin decided that we would go on a little camping trip. They had been wanting to do it forever and so we just decided to give in and go with them. The designated spot was only 10 minutes south of Provo in the little community of Mapleton. There we drove east towards the mountain and found a nice little camping area in the Uinta Mountains to pitch our tents and light our fire. We got all settled in, and ate roasted hot dogs, potato chips and watermelon for dinner. For dessert we had the classic s'mores before playing charades in front of the camp fire. Lauren even wanted to do a dance party, but instead we just went into the tent before the rain started. It ended up raining all night Friday and Saturday morning. Our tents and belongings were soaked, so we packed the car and drove into Mapleton to have breakfast at IHOP. What campers we are! We filled our stomachs and had a great camp sing-along on the short ride home to Provo.
