What happens when you decide to finally hang out with co-workers outside the office?
And when that day just happens to be Cinco de Mayo?

Loco would be an understatement.
I think I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

Marre! Chevre! Beso! Andale! Caliente!

Felicidades! Tonto! Amigo! Alegre! Chistoso!

Orale! Maravilla! Chispas! Hijole! Bueno!

Chamaco! Loco! Arriba! Cuate! Delicioso!

The party we had a couple weeks ago was one of the funnest times that I have had this summer. Granted, the summer has only been summer for about three weeks; however, the four hours that we spent - drinking margaritas (virgin of course), eating gallons of salsa, queso, guacamole, stuffed chilis, quesadillas, enchiladas, rice, beans, and cake - were enough to place this high on my list of summer memories.
I don't think I will ever experience a fiesta of this nature again. Angelique threw an amazing party, and I don't even think the pictures really don't do it justice.
For the record, the country of Mexico doesn't even celebrate this holiday. Many people tend to believe that it is their equivalent of the Fourth of July to celebrate their independence; when in reality, it is a celebration of a victory over French troops in the state of Puebla. They save their celebrating for September 16th.
Those with me, besides Eric, didn't know the difference.
So we dressed in ridiculous costumes, screamed random spanish phrases, danced to spanish rap music and ate the best TexMex food we could find.
Autentico? No
Divertido? Si
Viva Mexico!
love cinco!
