Fire

time: tuesday night around 11:00.
where: table on second floor of the library. computer in hand. headphones in ears. anna to my side.
what: fire alarm



we were annoyed that our precious study time was interrupted by a scheduled fire drill.
i didn't even know they had those in college.
the last one i remember was in mrs. streubels fourth grade class where we had to evacuate the rats and the snakes.
she made it clear that their safety was more important than our own.

we didn't stay around to go back inside.
the couch in kensington 12 was arguably more comfortable than the oak chairs paid for by tithes.
