Reality

thanksgiving week was wonderful. i'm sure we can all agree that it was too short. however, in the short five days that i was home i was able to see many family and friends. more than i had expected. i enjoyed stuffing myself not once or twice, but three times on thanksgiving. the pecan pie was the perfect finish to an amazing day. black friday was very eventful with my aunt, cousins, sister and mom. i'd much rather shop for other people.

though dallen, kally and the boys weren't there, we were thinking about them, especially when we were buying toys.

thanks mom, dad, heidi, mike, the hardings and the armstrongs. coming home just wouldn't be the same if you didn't make it memorable.

right now i am back to reality. and no, it is nothing like a 'reality show.'

no drama. no singing. no weight loss. and definitely no cameras.

just me and the library. and an occasional friend.

the sign on the glass doors says, 'god rest ye merry gentlemen... after finals.'

i guess that sums up my day while foreshadowing what i will be doing for the next two weeks. i have been here over four hours already and will continue to spend my afternoons and late nights here. i am just happy that i can stay until two o'clock in the morning and that i am not alone. :) it makes studying much more enjoyable!
