Tucked In

on sunday, stephen made the claim that "since he is getting married and graduating, he needs to start dressing like a man who is in a transitional phase in life." this observation was so spontaneous and out of the blue that billy and i just stared at each other and said, "what does that even mean? how should you dress if you are in a transitional phase in life?"

his answer... by tucking your shirt in.

apparently to stephen, this gesture means you are old, mature, important and part of the real world.
instead of making fun of the tuck-in, i decided i would embrace it and not only tuck in my shirt, but my hoodie as well.
it just so happened that billy captured the moment and emailed me the picture.

thanks stephen. for tucking your shirt in everyday since and for teaching all of us how to transition from boys to men. (not to be confused with boyz II men)

maybe if i tuck my shirt in everyday, i will be able to find a wife. just maybe.

  1. Now all you need is a cell phone holder on your belt and a polo shirt... That screams married and selling security systems

  2. Good look for you. And in no way were you making fun of him by tucking in your sweatshirt...Thanks for the Lady Antebellum on your play list. Love them. Oh yeah, what is with the super blogging? You are on a roll this week.

  3. Omg really? Is it necessary for your butt to be this distinct? I bet Stephen will get a hair transplant when he finds out his wife is having a baby. Then he'll be even MORE grown up.
