Everyone is Dying to Know About My Life
this past week i have probably had ten different people ask me when i am going to update my blog. i have been wondering the same thing myself, but every time that thought enters the front of my mind, i push it back into my brain with so much force, that i hope it will get lodged back there and never come to mind again. well my mind must not be very strong because the thought of blogging always bounces back. maybe my mind muscles need steroids. who knows. the truth is, i don't love blogging. i love posting pictures of what is happening in my life and i love reading other peoples' blogs. i also find joy in secretly stalking people, feeling like harry potter under his invisibility cloak. it's a daily routine that i have before i go to bed. i check the different blogs, trying to find a funny joke to tell my roommates the next day. very rarely do i not find one. i laugh at the ridiculous things that people blog about and the amount of times they update. seriously... who wants to always know how much you saved at the grocery stores or what your favorite new song on the radio is or what you had for dinner the night before. or why does the same person always seem to think that it is ok to constantly talk about how busy they are with their church callings and how important and humble they feel because their husband just got called as the new EQP? then there are the people who think that the whole world is stalking them and they think that they need to go private? in reality no one is reading these people's blogs because all they are talking about is themselves and how much they love doing crafts. it is mind-boggling. these people are the source of ridicule on the website seriouslysoblessed. most of them tell their friends to read that blog because it is so funny, when in reality, they end up developing the exact same writing habits and only post their blessings online. so to all of you who do this... don't stop...please continue. i find joy in it and it gives me and the rest of the zoobies at byu something to laugh about. and even though i don't love updating, i will continue to do so because just like the rest of you... EVERYONE IS DYING TO KNOW ABOUT MY LIFE! oh ya, and i am searching for a wife and i hear this is the best and only way to find one.
