Yep, our dishwasher was overflowing. For some odd reason, Steve thought that he could use Dawn dish soap in the dishwasher. It was overflowing all over our kitchen floor and I just laughed. I took a picture and walked out the door. couldn't help because it was time for work, so I left them to clean up their ridiculous mess. Steve, you thought wrong buddy!
On Wednesday, it was Brian Sanders and Natalie's wedding reception. I have known Natalie since freshman year at Utah State when I would go visit all the boys up in Logan. Anyway, those two got married on Wednesday and had a reception in Mapleton. I was happy that it was only ten minutes south of Provo, because that meant that we could go and see them and everyone else. Brian drove down from Logan for it and we met Devin, CarrieAnne, Jenny, Charlotte, and everyone else from Logan. It had been a long time since I had done anything with them, so thanks Brian and Natalie for getting married, so I could see you and everyone else too.
Thursday was a long time planning. All of us had been wanting to get together to carve pumpkins before Halloween night, but because of scheduling conflicts, it was not happening. So I decided that Brandice and I would just get together and carve pumpkins ourselves. So that's what we did. I hadn't done it for years, and so I had a really good time making my pumpkin look amazing. We carved away and made sugar cookies before heading up to my ward party for a few minutes. It was pretty lame, but at least we made an appearance. After those events, everyone came back to our apartment. Kimbre brought her own pumpkin and designed this masterpiece, in spite of me!
Yep, it is the elephant of the republican party. She is hilarious and her roommate is a democratel and so she wanted to take it home to have it blink... hilarious. I still think mine looks the best, but you be the judge! Kimbre, Spencer, Cole, Billy, Brandice and I spent the rest of the evening watching The Sixth Sense and getting ready for the halloween parties.
Watch tv while your eating lunch and getting ready for breakfast...what the heck??? What is with that???
ReplyDeleteGarrett...sounds like you had a fun week!!! You are one busy kid. I love the costumes, you somehow make a great Sonny Bono. Anyway, we miss having you around and you have not been home for awhile, what's with that??? You better find sometime to come for a visit in the next week or two...at least come home for the holiday, we like that early morning shopping on Friday morning, remember?
