Update! I am never usually this bad at updating my blog. It seems that since I have moved home to Pocatello, I have not really had the time to just sit down and write. In Provo, I was always updating because I had time at work or in the evenings at my apartment. I guess there is really no excuse, and most of you will probably not even bother reading this after reading the huge long last post! I haven't really been up to that much, but I will explain bits of what has happened over the past week and a half, so bear with me! Patty's garage sale was great. It was crowded most of the day and everyone made lots of money... That next Monday, I started working for L&K Carpet One. I really have to thank the Bernts for giving me summer employment. It is a great job and I enjoy everyone I work with. Even though it is very different from my office job at school, I am thankful to have some type of income... That week I also went out to American Falls to do a little boating with the Tingeys. They are so nice to always let me go out to the lake with them. I have many memories with that big banana boat and that night was no exception. Because the weather was bad, we only jet skied and tubed. Kris outlasted me on the tubes, but hopefully there will be more exciting adventures to come... The Fourth of July was great as always. Leave it to Tami to throw a great annual party. The food was great and the entertainment was OK. It was definetely not 'the biggest show in idaho' this year. I felt like the music didn't really correspond with the fireworks. Between Beethoven's 5th and Phantom of the Opera, I felt a little out of place. It ended on a high with a tribute to the military and the famous Martina McBride Independence Day song. It's always great to be reminded of our freedom and what we sometimes all take for granted... The rest of the weekend and week were spent getting ready for our trip to New York! We leave in just a few hours and I am ecstatic. We have planned every day and all the things we are going to see. The rest of them better put their tennis shoes on because we are going to be rushing to get everything done that Heidi and I have planned. I WILL TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES AND MOST LIKELY WRITE A HUGE DAY-BY-DAY EXPLANATION of everything we did... so be prepared!

  3. Man I wish that we could have been in American Falls for the 4th, even with the bad weather! Our 4th was awful, Florida is just not the same as Idaho. Oh and when we go home and we need some carpet we'll know where to go, ha ha
