Two weeks ago, my cousin Tyler was getting sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. They got married a year ago and so we were invited to the sealing. My parents came down Friday to do some shopping, etc. and I met up with them. Heidi was flying in from her trip to Mexico and so Mike picked her up at the airport. All five of us met at the hotel and then headed over to The Garden in downtown Salt Lake to eat dinner. We had a great meal and it was great to all be together. The next morning, Heidi and Mike flew to Albuquerque to visit Dallen, Kally and the boys. Mike had never met them, so it was a great opportunity for everyone to meet before the big wedding day in August. They had a great time. My parents and I spent the day at the temple and at the luncheon for Tyler and Melissa. We went home that night and heard terrible news about our neighbor Michael Packer. We are very heartbroken and sad and our prayers are with their family. The rest of the weekend was spent in somber with friends. I came back to Provo Monday night with Cole and worked all week before heading off to San Diego.
