Last Friday I had the great opportunity to take my "unofficial" spring break. At BYU they don't fit the break into the schedule, resulting in more stress and work during our winter semester. However, my parents were planning on going to New Mexico to visit Dallen and Kally and the boys over Easter and I decided I would travel with them, even if it meant absences in school. They picked me up Friday afternoon after my work and we drove down to Albuquerque. We stayed the night halfway in Cortez Colorado and then finished the trek the next morning. We had an amazing weekend. We went to a Chuck E. Cheese type restaurant, toured the city, shopped, went to church, had Easter dinner with the whole family, enjoyed ourselves at the zoo and played games and relaxed! I flew home Tuesday morning to be back for work. A small trip, but very fun to see the family. The boys have grown so much and are hilarious. The funniest thing...Jaxon saying "I promise" after every random thing you say. Like when he said "Mom I promise I'll go to nursery if I can watch Ice Age." We couldn't stop laughing! Dallen and Kally are great parents and we miss them. Thanks for opening your busy lives to let us visit!
