Endless Summer

Summer is in full swing and I can't get enough. I'm addicted - sunburnt - and exhausted. The bbqs, bike rides, fireworks, work parties, nature hikes, tennis matches, golf rounds, books, book clubs, waterfalls, swimming pools, sand volleyball, wedding receptions, outdoor movies, water balloon fights, bonfires, soccer games, river picnics, frozen yogurt trips, parades, concerts, card games, late nights, and new friends have invaded my life and left me wanting more.

This past week has been one of the best in recent memory.
(and to think I even considered missing out by spending it in Texas)

And it's only going to continue...

In the next few weeks I will be finishing my internship, spending a week with the entire family in pocatello, holding heidi's soon-to-be-born baby, vacationing a week in san diego, moving to salt lake, interning with one of the best hospitals in the country, and starting a new chapter of my life.

As a realist, I couldn't be more optimistic. And that is saying something.

  1. Sounds like you are loving life! Congrats on the internship...the new niece or nephew, and everything else going on in your life. You deserve it!

  2. Counting down the days until you are here. Literally making a paper chain like I'm 5 years old, and I have no shame. Perfect summer. Cheers.
