EFY-ing

The month of July was supposed to be my time off from EFY. However, I was able to pick up three sessions in a row the past three weeks. One in Rexburg, where Jenna and I were able to be co-counselors and the last two in Logan. At first I was not that excited to be doing three straight weeks in a row, however now that they are over, I can say how grateful I have been that I was able to work those weeks. I was able to meet some of the most amazing youth, especially during my first logan week, and they have influenced me for the better. EFY is an amazing program that CAN only benefit the participants and all that involved. Each Saturday morning as I talk to the parents that pick up their kids, I am able to see the difference that the gospel has had on their families. Working with the youth, the gospel and EFY is probably the best way that I could've chosen to spend my summer. Sometimes I can not believe that I actually get paid to do this...
