Hare Krishna

The Hare Krishna Festival of Colors in Spanish Fork. It is a hindu festival that symbolizes the ending of winter and beginning of spring by throwing colored chalk in the air and on each other. The estimated turnout was about 8,000 people and you can tell from the pictures how crowded it was.

Buying the paint before it started.

The group we were with.

Notice how clean we are.

Starting the festival by burning a fire.

During the festival.

After it ended and we headed home.

It was probably one of the most exciting things I have done while I have been at school. I am so glad I had my camera there to capture the memory.
